Cheesy Masala Pizza Pockets

1.In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

2.In a separate bowl, whisk the egg and mayonnaise together until smooth.

3.Add the egg mixture to the flour mixture and stir until combined. Gradually add water, a little at a time, kneading until a smooth dough forms. Add oil and continue kneading for about 5 minutes until the dough is elastic. Cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.

4.In another bowl, mix the shredded cheese, tomato sauce, garam masala, chili powder, cumin powder, and coriander powder. Stir until well combined. This will be your filling.

5.After the dough has rested, divide it into equal portions (about 8-10). Roll each portion into a ball and then flatten it into a circle about 4-5 inches in diameter.

6.Place a generous spoonful of the cheese filling in the center of each dough circle. Fold the dough over to create a half-moon shape, sealing the edges by pressing with your fingers or a fork to ensure no filling escapes during cooking.

7.Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

8.Place the stuffed pockets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Optionally, brush the tops with a little oil for a golden finish.

9.Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
