Grape Cream Delight

1.Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

2.In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs (3 large), sugar (¼ cup), and vanilla extract (1 teaspoon) until well combined and slightly frothy.

3.In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the milk (1 cup), heavy cream (1 cup), and sweetened condensed milk (1 cup). Stir gently until the mixture is warm but not boiling.

4.Gradually add the warm milk (1 cup) mixture to the egg mixture while whisking continuously to temper the eggs (3 large) and prevent curdling.

5.Once combined, add the lemon juice (1 tablespoon) and grape juice (½ cup) to the mixture and stir well.

6.In a greased baking dish, layer the halved grapes evenly across the bottom.

7.Pour the creamy mixture over the grapes, ensuring they are well covered.

8.Place the baking dish in a larger baking pan and fill the outer pan with hot water to create a water bath for even cooking.

9.Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the center is set and a knife inserted comes out clean.

10.Remove from the oven and allow to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

11.Serve chilled, garnished with additional halved grapes if desired.
