Savory Pork and Sour Cream Casserole

1.Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

2.In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground pork, chopped onion, and minced garlic. Cook until the pork is browned and the onions are translucent, about 5-7 minutes.

3.Stir in the paprika, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix well and cook for an additional 2 minutes to combine the flavors.

4.In a separate bowl, mix the sour cream and half of the shredded cheddar cheese until well combined.

5.In a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, layer half of the cooked pork mixture evenly across the bottom.

6.Spread half of the sour cream and cheese mixture over the pork layer.

7.Repeat the layers with the remaining pork mixture and sour cream mixture, finishing with the sour cream layer on top.

8.Sprinkle the breadcrumbs evenly over the top of the casserole, followed by the remaining cheddar cheese.

9.Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.

10.Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
