Cinnamon Apple Pie Dump Cake Delight

1.Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.

2.Spread the apple pie filling evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish.

3.In a medium bowl, combine the cinnamon streusel muffin mix with the melted butter. Stir until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

4.Sprinkle the muffin mix evenly over the apple pie filling in the baking dish.

5.If using, sprinkle the chopped walnuts or pecans evenly over the top of the muffin mix.

6.In a small bowl, mix together the ground cinnamon and granulated sugar. Sprinkle this cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the top of the cake.

7.Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.

8.Allow the cake to cool for at least 10 minutes before serving. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream, if desired.
