Classic Cannabis Brownies

1.Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8-inch (20x20 cm) baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal.

2.In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter and cannabis-infused butter together over low heat, stirring frequently to combine. Remove from heat once fully melted and smooth.

3.In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, light brown sugar, and the melted butter mixture until well combined and slightly glossy.

4.Add the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition to fully incorporate. Stir in the vanilla extract.

5.Sift together the cocoa powder, all-purpose flour, salt, and baking powder in a separate bowl to ensure even distribution and no lumps.

6.Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture using a spatula, mixing gently until just combined. Avoid overmixing to keep the brownies fudgy.

7.Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly with a spatula.

8.Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Check doneness by inserting a toothpick in the center; it should come out with a few moist crumbs but not wet batter.

9.Remove the brownies from the oven and allow them to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack. Use the parchment overhang to lift the brownies out of the pan for easier cutting.

10.Once cooled, cut the brownies into 16 equal squares. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for longer freshness.
