Cannabis-Infused Vegan Butter Spread

1.Prepare cannabis-infused coconut oil in advance by decarboxylating cannabis at 240°F (115°C) for 40 minutes, then infusing it into coconut oil over low heat for 2-3 hours, and strain out plant material.

2.In a medium mixing bowl, combine the refined coconut oil and softened vegan margarine. Use a hand mixer or whisk to blend until smooth and creamy.

3.Add the cannabis-infused coconut oil to the mixture and continue to blend thoroughly to ensure even distribution of the infusion.

4.Sprinkle in the nutritional yeast, turmeric powder, garlic powder, and sea salt. Mix well to incorporate all ingredients evenly. The turmeric will give the spread a natural buttery yellow hue.

5.Add lemon juice and blend one final time to balance flavors and enhance freshness.

6.Transfer the mixture into a clean, airtight container or butter mold. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until firm and spreadable.

7.Before serving, allow the butter spread to sit at room temperature for 10-15 minutes to soften for easier spreading.

8.Use as a spread on bread, toast, or crackers, or substitute in vegan baking recipes for a gentle, sustained cannabis effect.
