Classic White Bread in a Breadmaker

1Pour the lukewarm water (300 ml) into the bread pan of the breadmaker.

2Add the sunflower or olive oil to the water.

3Sprinkle the sugar (1 tablespoon) and salt (1½ teaspoons) evenly over the water and oil.

4Add the wheat flour (500 grams) on top, covering the water completely to create a barrier.

5Make a small well on top of the flour and add the dry yeast (1½ teaspoons) into this well, ensuring the yeast does not come into direct contact with the water.

6Place the bread pan into the breadmaker and select the 'basic white bread' or 'standard' program (usually program 1).

7Choose your preferred crust color: light, medium, or dark.

8Start the breadmaker program and allow it to complete the full baking cycle, approximately 3 hours.

9Once baking is finished, carefully remove the bread pan and turn out the loaf onto a cooling rack.

10Let the bread cool for at least 15 minutes before slicing to ensure optimal texture and flavor.
