Crispy Air Fryer Chicken Pasta Bake

1Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 5 minutes.

2In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil (1 tablespoon) and sauté the chopped onion for 3-4 minutes until translucent. Add the minced garlic (2 cloves) and cook for another 30 seconds until fragrant.

3Stir in the marinara sauce (1 cup), heavy cream (½ cup), Italian herbs, salt (½ teaspoon), and black pepper (¼ teaspoon). Simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.

4In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, cooked chicken, and the creamy tomato sauce. Mix well to coat evenly.

5Transfer the mixture to a lightly greased, air fryer-safe baking dish (about 7-inch round or similar size).

6Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan evenly over the top.

7In a small bowl, mix the panko breadcrumbs (½ cup) with melted butter (1 tablespoon). Sprinkle this mixture over the cheese layer for a crispy topping.

8Place the baking dish in the preheated air fryer basket. Cook at 350°F (175°C) for 15-18 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and the topping is golden brown.

9Carefully remove the dish from the air fryer. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.

10Garnish with chopped fresh parsley (2 tablespoons) and serve hot.
