Spicy Greengill Fish Curry

1.Heat the cooking oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat.

2.Add the chopped onion and sauté until softened and translucent, about 5-7 minutes.

3.Stir in the tomato puree, pepper powder, turmeric powder, ground coriander, and ground cumin. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until fragrant.

4.Add the greengill pieces to the pot and gently stir to coat them with the spice mixture.

5.Pour in the water and season with salt to taste. Bring the curry to a simmer.

6.Cover the pot and let it simmer gently for 10-15 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily. Avoid overcooking the fish.

7.Garnish with fresh chopped cilantro before serving.
