Potato Patties with Cheese and Onion

1Peel the potatoes (500 g), boil until tender in salted water, then drain the water and mash into a puree. Let cool slightly.

2In a bowl with the mashed potatoes (500 g), add the ground meat (300 g), grated cheese, finely chopped onion (1 medium), grated carrot (1 small), eggs (2), salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until a homogeneous mass is formed.

3Form small patties from the resulting mixture.

4Dredge each patty in flour.

5Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.

6Fry the patties on both sides until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes per side.

7Serve hot.
