Crispy Baked Paneer Chingezi Bites

1.Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2.In a medium bowl, gently toss the paneer cubes with cornstarch and salt until lightly coated. This helps in achieving a crispier texture.

3.In a separate large bowl, whisk together all the ingredients for the Chingezi marinade: yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, chaat masala, black pepper, chopped cilantro, chopped mint, and salt.

4.Add the coated paneer cubes to the marinade and gently toss to ensure each piece is evenly coated. Let it marinate for at least 15-20 minutes at room temperature.

5.Arrange the marinated paneer cubes in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they do not touch each other.

6.Bake for 15-20 minutes, flipping the paneer cubes halfway through, until they are golden brown and slightly crispy.

7.Serve hot as a savory snack or party appetizer.
