Sweet & Spicy Honey Chili Chicken Stir-Fry

1.In a medium bowl, toss the chicken pieces with 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tsp cornstarch, and 1/2 tsp black pepper. Set aside to marinate for at least 10 minutes.

2.In a small bowl, whisk together all the sauce ingredients: 4 tbsp honey, 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp rice vinegar, 1 tbsp chili garlic sauce, 1 tsp sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Set aside.

3.Heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

4.Add the marinated chicken in a single layer and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until browned and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

5.Add the remaining 1 tbsp of vegetable oil to the skillet.

6.Add the sliced bell peppers, onion, and broccoli florets. Stir-fry for 4-5 minutes, until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

7.Return the cooked chicken to the skillet with the vegetables.

8.Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken and vegetables. Stir well to coat everything.

9.Cook for another 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly, until the sauce has thickened and coats the ingredients.

10.Serve immediately, garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions if desired.
