The Salty Pink Grapefruit Sour

1.Rub a grapefruit wedge around the rim of a chilled coupe glass and dip the rim into a small plate of coarse sea salt to create a salted edge.

2.In a cocktail shaker, combine the fresh pink grapefruit juice, gin or vodka, lime juice, grenadine, and a pinch of fine sea salt.

3.Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake vigorously for 15 seconds until the exterior of the shaker feels very cold.

4.Double strain the mixture into the prepared coupe glass to ensure a smooth, pulp-free texture.

5.Garnish with a thin grapefruit wedge on the rim and serve immediately while ice-cold.
