Classic Lime Agua Fresca

1.In a large pitcher, combine the cold water and granulated sugar. Stir vigorously for 1-2 minutes until the sugar is completely dissolved.

2.Add the freshly squeezed lime juice to the pitcher and stir well to combine.

3.Taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness by adding more sugar if desired, stirring until fully incorporated.

4.Fill individual serving glasses with ice cubes.

5.Pour the lime agua fresca over the ice and garnish with a thin lime slice and a sprig of fresh mint if using.
