Prepare Simple Syrup In a small saucepan, combine the sugar and water. Heat over medium heat until the sugar has dissolved, stirring occasionally.

Cool Simple Syrup Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the simple syrup cool completely.

Make Sorbet Base In a blender or food processor, blend together the fruit juice, cooled simple syrup, and lemon juice until well combined.

Add Optional Fresh Fruit If using fresh fruit add-ins, fold them into the sorbet base.

Freeze Sorbet Pour the sorbet base into a shallow container and place it in the freezer.

Churn Sorbet Every 30 minutes, remove the container from the freezer and stir the sorbet to break up any ice crystals that form. Repeat this process for about 2-3 hours, or until the sorbet is frozen and has a smooth texture.

Serve Sorbet Once the sorbet is frozen, it's ready to serve. Scoop into bowls or cones and enjoy!
