Creamy Potato Pasta Bake

Preheat Oven Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

Cook Pasta Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Boil Potatoes In a large pot, boil the thinly sliced potatoes in milk until tender. Remove from heat and set aside.

Make Creamy Sauce In a saucepan, heat the cream until hot but not boiling. Stir in the grated cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper.

Assemble Pasta Bake In a large baking dish, layer half of the cooked pasta, followed by the boiled potatoes, and then the remaining pasta. Pour the creamy sauce over the top and mix gently to combine.

Optional Add Bacon If desired, sprinkle chopped bacon over the top for added flavor.

Bake Pasta Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.

Optional Garnish with Parsley Garnish with chopped fresh parsley, if desired, before serving.
