Sichuan Chicken Soup

1.In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the garlic, ginger, and Sichuan peppercorns. Stir fry for a minute until fragrant.

2.Add the chili bean paste and stir fry for another minute.

3.Add the chicken broth, soy sauce, and sugar. Bring to a boil.

4.Reduce the heat to low and add the sliced chicken. Simmer for 10-15 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.

5.Season with salt to taste.

Garnish Serve the soup hot, garnished with green onions and fresh cilantro leaves.
