Egg and Cheese Sandwich

1.Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Add the sausages and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5 minutes per side. Remove from heat and set aside.

2.In the same pan, add the chopped onion and cook until it becomes translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

3.Crack the eggs into a bowl and whisk until well beaten. Season with salt and pepper.

4.Heat the frying pan over medium heat and pour the beaten eggs into the pan. Cook until set, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove from heat and set aside.

5.Slice the burger buns in half and toast them in a toaster or in a hot oven for a few minutes until lightly golden.

6.Spread mayonnaise and ketchup on one side of each bun.

7.Place a cooked sausage on top of the mayonnaise and ketchup.

8.Add a cooked egg on top of the sausage.

9.Place a slice of cheese on top of the egg.

10.Top with sautéed onions.

11.Cover with the other half of the bun.

12.Repeat the process to make the second sandwich.

13.Serve the egg and cheese sandwiches warm.
