Banana Chocolate Cake

Preparation Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

2.Separate the egg yolks from the whites. In a mixing bowl, beat the egg yolks with sugar until light and fluffy.

3.In another bowl, sift the flour and cocoa powder together.

4.Gradually add the flour mixture to the egg yolk mixture and mix well.

5.In a separate clean bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.

6.Gently fold the beaten egg whites into the batter until well combined.

7.Pour the batter into a greased and lined cake tin. Smooth the top with a spatula.

Baking Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Assembly Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool completely.

10.In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.

11.Slice the cooled cake horizontally into two layers.

12.Spread a layer of whipped cream on the bottom cake layer.

13.Arrange the sliced bananas on top of the whipped cream.

14.Sprinkle grated chocolate over the bananas.

15.Place the second cake layer on top and press lightly.

16.Cover the entire cake with the remaining whipped cream.

17.Garnish with sliced bananas and grated chocolate.

18.Refrigerate the cake for at least 2 hours before serving.
