Super Homemade Beer

1.In a large pot, bring the water to a boil.

2.Add the malt extract and stir until it dissolves completely.

3.Bring the mixture to a simmer and add the hops.

4.Continue simmering for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.

5.Remove the pot from the heat and let it cool to room temperature.

6.Once cooled, strain the liquid into a fermenting bucket or carboy.

7.Add the yeast and sugar to the fermenting bucket and stir gently.

8.Cover the bucket with a lid or an airlock and let it ferment for about 2 weeks.

9.After 2 weeks, transfer the beer to bottles or kegs for carbonation.

10.If desired, add ginger, lemon juice, and honey for additional flavor.

11.Seal the bottles or kegs and let the beer carbonate for another week.

12.Chill the beer in the refrigerator before serving.
