Naruto Roll

Cook the Sushi Rice Cook the sushi rice: Rinse the rice in cold water until the water runs clear. In a large saucepan, combine the rinsed rice and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and let the rice sit, covered, for another 10 minutes. In a small bowl, mix together the rice vinegar, sugar, and salt. Drizzle the vinegar mixture over the cooked rice and gently fold to combine. Let the rice cool to room temperature.

Prepare the Fillings Prepare the fillings: Cut the imitation crab sticks and cucumber into thin strips. Slice the avocado.

Assemble the Naruto Roll Assemble the Naruto roll: Lay a sheet of plastic wrap on a clean surface. Place cucumber strips horizontally on the plastic wrap, slightly overlapping. Spread a layer of sushi rice over the cucumber, leaving a small border at the top. Place the imitation crab sticks, avocado slices, mayonnaise, and sriracha sauce along the center of the rice. Tightly roll the plastic wrap to form a compact roll. Repeat with the remaining ingredients.

Slice and Garnish Slice and garnish: Unwrap the plastic wrap from the Naruto rolls. Slice each roll into bite-sized pieces. Sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onions on top as garnish.
