Classic American Pancakes

Mixing Dry Ingredients In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Preparing Wet Mixture In a separate bowl, beat the eggs. Then, add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined.

Combining Wet and Dry Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined. It's okay if there are a few lumps.

Preheating the Skillet Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease with butter or cooking spray.

Cooking the Pancakes Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, or until golden brown.

Serving the Pancakes Repeat with the remaining batter. Serve the pancakes warm with your favorite toppings, such as maple syrup, fresh berries, or whipped cream.
