Homemade Chicken and Rice Dog Food

Cooking the Chicken In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the chicken breasts and cook until no longer pink in the center, about 10-12 minutes. Remove the chicken breasts from the pot and let them cool.

Shredding the Chicken Once the chicken is cool enough to handle, shred it into small, bite-sized pieces.

Cooking the Vegetables In the same pot, add the diced carrots, chopped green beans, and peas. Cook them in the chicken broth until tender, about 10 minutes.

Combining the Ingredients Add the shredded chicken, pumpkin puree, and brown rice to the pot. Stir everything together until well combined.

Adding Supplements (Optional) If using supplements, add the fish oil and turmeric to the pot. Mix well.

Cooling and Storing Let the dog food cool completely before serving. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
