Mint Almond Homemade Ice Cream

Infusing the Mint Flavor In a blender, combine the fresh mint leaves and a small amount of the cooled milk mixture. Blend until the mint is finely chopped and the mixture is smooth. Strain the mint-infused milk into the remaining milk mixture, pressing the leaves to extract maximum flavor. Discard the mint leaves.

Flavor Integration and Chilling Stir in the granulated sugar, vanilla extract, chopped almonds, and ground nutmeg until well combined. Cover the mixture and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until thoroughly chilled.

Churning the Ice Cream Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.

Final Freezing Transfer the churned ice cream into a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
