Creamy Onion Dip

Preparing the Onion Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the finely chopped onion and sauté until golden brown. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute. Remove from heat and let it cool.

Making the Dip In a mixing bowl, combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, black pepper, and salt. Add the cooled onion and garlic mixture, then stir until well combined.

Chilling the Dip Cover the dip with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld together.

Serving Transfer the creamy onion dip to a serving bowl. Garnish with chopped fresh chives and sprinkle with paprika. Serve with assorted fresh vegetables, potato chips, crackers, and breadsticks.
