Christmas Fruit Cheese

1.In a bowl, combine the mixed dried fruits and chopped nuts.

4.If using, pour in the brandy or rum and honey, and mix well to incorporate all ingredients thoroughly.

5.Line a small dish or mold with plastic wrap, ensuring there is excess wrap hanging over the edges.

6.Transfer the fruit cheese mixture into the lined dish, pressing it down firmly to pack it in.

7.Fold the excess plastic wrap over the top of the mixture to cover it completely.

8.Refrigerate the Christmas Fruit Cheese for at least 4 hours or overnight to set and allow the flavors to meld together.

9.Once set, remove the fruit cheese from the dish, unwrap the plastic, and place it on a serving plate.
