Decadent Chocolate Chip Cookies

1.Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

2.In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Set aside.

3.In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.

4.Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then stir in the vanilla extract.

5.Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

6.Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.

7.Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop rounded balls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, leaving about 2 inches of space between each cookie.

8.Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown but the centers are still soft.

9.Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.
