Beefy Fiesta Tacos

1.In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes.

2.Drain excess fat from the skillet, if necessary, and return to heat.

3.Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the beef. Cook until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

4.Stir in the tomato paste, chili powder, ground cumin, and salt. Mix well to combine all the ingredients and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.

5.While the beef mixture is cooking, preheat the oven according to the taco shell package instructions (usually around 350°F or 175°C).

6.Place the taco shells on a baking sheet and bake for about 5-7 minutes, or until they are crispy and golden brown.

7.Once the shells are ready, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly.

8.To assemble the tacos, spoon the seasoned ground beef mixture into each taco shell.

9.Top each taco with shredded lettuce, shredded cheese, and a generous spoonful of tomato salsa.
