2-Minute Chocolate Mug Cake

1.In a microwave-safe mug, combine 4 tablespoons of all-purpose flour, 4 tablespoons of granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder, 1/8 teaspoon of baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Stir until well mixed.

2.Add 3 tablespoons of milk, 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, and 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract to the dry ingredients in the mug. Mix thoroughly until the batter is smooth and free of lumps.

3.If desired, fold in 2 tablespoons of chocolate chips for an extra gooey texture.

4.Microwave the mug on high for 1 minute and 30 seconds. Keep an eye on it as it cooks; the cake will rise and may overflow if cooked for too long. The cake is done when it has risen and is set but still slightly moist in the center.

5.Let the mug cake cool for a minute before enjoying it directly from the mug.
