Borscht

1.Prepare the broth by boiling water with the onion for 30 minutes.

2.Peel and dice the beets, then cook them in the broth until tender.

3.In a separate pan, fry the bacon until crispy.

4.Mince the garlic and add it to the pan with the bacon. Cook for 1 more minute.

5.Add the bacon and garlic mixture to the pot with the beets.

6.Simmer the soup for another 10 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.

7.Prepare the tapioca according to package instructions.

8.Serve the borscht hot, garnished with cooked tapioca.
