Chocolate Lava Cake

Cake Batter Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease four ramekins with butter and cocoa powder. Set aside.

2.In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate and butter in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Let it cool slightly.

3.In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar until well combined.

4.Fold in the melted chocolate mixture until smooth.

5.Sift in the flour and salt, gently folding until just combined. Do not overmix.

Molten Lava Filling In a small bowl, melt the dark chocolate and butter for the filling. Set aside to cool slightly.

7.Whisk the egg yolk and powdered sugar until pale and creamy.

8.Gently fold the chocolate mixture into the egg yolk mixture until well combined.

Assembly Fill each ramekin halfway with the cake batter. Add a spoonful of the molten lava filling in the center of each ramekin.

10.Cover the molten lava filling with more cake batter, ensuring it is completely covered.

11.Bake in the preheated oven for 12-14 minutes until the edges are set but the center is still soft.

12.Remove from the oven and let it rest for 1-2 minutes before carefully unmolding the cakes onto plates.

Garnish Dust the cakes with powdered sugar and serve warm with fresh berries and mint leaves.
