Spicy Jalapeno Margarita

1.Start by preparing your glass. Rub a lime wedge around the rim of a rocks glass and dip it into salt to coat the rim. Set aside.

2.In a cocktail shaker, combine the tequila, fresh lime juice, orange liqueur, and agave syrup if using.

3.Add the jalapeno slices to the shaker. If you prefer a milder drink, remove the seeds from the jalapeno before adding.

4.Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds to chill and mix the ingredients well.

5.Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with ice. You can use a fine mesh strainer if you want to remove the jalapeno bits for a smoother drink.

6.Garnish with a lime wedge and an additional slice of jalapeno if desired.

7.Serve immediately and enjoy your Spicy Jalapeno Margarita!
