Delicious Matcha Green Tea Cookies

1.Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2.In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and matcha green tea powder until well combined. Set aside.

3.In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.

4.Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix until fully incorporated.

5.Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

6.Fold in the white chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.

7.Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

8.Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. The centers may look slightly underbaked, but they will firm up as they cool.

9.Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
