Mickey Mouse Ice Cream Delight with Chocolate Chip Cookie Ears

1.Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper for the chocolate chip cookies.

2.In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of softened butter, 1 cup of brown sugar, and 1/2 cup of granulated sugar. Mix until creamy.

3.Add 2 large eggs and 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract to the mixture and beat until well combined.

4.In another bowl, whisk together 2 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.

5.Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in 1 cup of chocolate chips.

6.Scoop large portions of the cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, making sure to leave enough space between each cookie as they will spread.

7.Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool completely.

8.While the cookies are cooling, prepare the Mickey Mouse face using the ice cream. In a large bowl, scoop 1 cup of vanilla ice cream and shape it into a round face on a serving plate.

9.Next, scoop 1 cup of chocolate ice cream and shape it into a smaller round for the nose, placing it in the center of the vanilla face.

10.Scoop 1 cup of strawberry ice cream and shape it into two smaller rounds for the cheeks, placing them on either side of the nose.

11.Using the remaining vanilla ice cream, shape two smaller rounds for the eyes and place them above the nose. Add mini chocolate chips for pupils.

12.Once the cookies are cooled, dip the top of each cookie into the melted chocolate, allowing any excess to drip off. Place the cookies on either side of the ice cream face to create Mickey's ears.

13.Decorate the face with whipped cream for a fun touch, and sprinkle red and chocolate sprinkles around the face for added color and texture.
