Crispy Paneer Cornflake Bites

1.In a mixing bowl, combine the milk and lemon juice to create buttermilk. Let it sit for 5 minutes to thicken slightly.

2.In another bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cumin powder, salt, and black pepper to create a seasoned flour mixture.

3.In a third bowl, place the crushed cornflakes and breadcrumbs, mixing them together for an extra crunchy coating.

4.Dip each paneer cube into the buttermilk, allowing any excess to drip off, then coat it in the seasoned flour mixture, ensuring it's fully covered.

5.Next, dip the floured paneer cube back into the buttermilk, then roll it in the cornflake and breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere the coating.

6.Repeat the process for all paneer cubes and place them on a plate.

7.Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, carefully add the coated paneer cubes in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan.

8.Fry the paneer bites for about 3-4 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy, turning occasionally for even cooking.

9.Once cooked, remove the paneer bites from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

10.Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or chutney.
