Krabby Patty Deluxe Burger

1.In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, canned crab meat, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the mixture.

2.Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty about 1/2 inch thick.

3.In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and pickle relish to create the secret sauce. Set aside.

4.Heat a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat and add a little oil. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked to your desired doneness.

5.During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover the pan to allow the cheese to melt.

6.Meanwhile, butter the insides of the burger buns and toast them in a separate pan until golden brown.

7.To assemble the burgers, spread a generous amount of the secret sauce on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Place a lettuce leaf, a slice of tomato, and a slice of red onion on top.

8.Add the cheesy Krabby Patty on top of the vegetables, then cover with the top half of the bun.
