Sweet Coffee Biscuit Bars

1.Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.

2.In a large mixing bowl, combine the crushed Dark Fantasy biscuits, all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir until evenly mixed.

3.In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, cooled brewed coffee, and vanilla extract until well combined.

4.Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir gently until a sticky dough forms, ensuring the coffee is fully incorporated.

5.Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking pan. Press it down evenly with the back of a spoon or your hands to form a compact, uniform layer.

6.Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.

7.Remove from oven and allow the bars to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.

8.Once cooled, lift the bars out using the parchment paper overhang and cut into squares or bars of desired size.

9.Optional: Lightly dust the bars with powdered sugar before serving for an extra touch of sweetness.
