Chicken Fries

Preparation of the chicken strips Slice the chicken breasts into thin strips, about the size of fries.

Marinating the chicken In a bowl, mix the buttermilk, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken strips to the marinade and let them sit for at least 30 minutes.

Preparing the breading station In a shallow dish, combine the flour, cornstarch, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. In another dish, whisk together the eggs and milk.

Coating the chicken strips Dredge the marinated chicken strips in the flour mixture, then dip them in the egg mixture, and coat them again in the flour mixture. Place the coated strips on a baking sheet.

Frying the chicken strips Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or pot to 350°F (180°C). Fry the coated chicken strips in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per batch. Drain them on paper towels.

Preparing the dipping sauce In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, ketchup, honey, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Serve the chicken fries with the dipping sauce.
