Extremely Buttery Extremely Dark Brownies

1.Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x9 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.

2.Melt the butter and dark chocolate chips together in a medium saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

3.In a large bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, light brown sugar, and eggs until light and fluffy. Stir in the vanilla extract.

4.Gradually blend the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture until fully incorporated. Ensure that the chocolate is not too hot to avoid cooking the eggs.

5.In a separate bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
