Bread Maker Italian Bread

1.Place 1 cup of warm water and 2 tablespoons of olive oil into the bread maker pan.

2.Add 3 cups of bread flour to the pan. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of sugar and 1 teaspoon of salt evenly over the flour.

3.Make a small indentation on top of the flour (but not deep enough to reach the liquid) and add 1 1/4 teaspoons of active dry yeast into the indentation.

4.Set your bread maker to the basic or white bread setting, and adjust the crust color setting to light or medium, depending on your preference.

5.Start the bread maker. Once the bread maker has completed its cycle, carefully remove the bread pan using oven mitts.

6.Let the bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy your freshly baked Italian bread!
