Garlic Bread and Potato-Stuffed Sausage Pasta Casserole

1.Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2.In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

3.In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon and set aside, leaving the drippings in the skillet.

4.In the same skillet, add the sausage and cook until browned and cooked through, breaking it up into small pieces as it cooks. Drain excess fat if necessary.

5.Add the diced potatoes to the skillet with the sausage and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the potatoes are tender.

6.Stir in the creamy tomato sauce, cooked pasta, garlic powder, dried oregano, red pepper flakes, and half of the mozzarella cheese. Mix well to combine all ingredients.

7.Transfer the pasta mixture into a greased 9x13 inch casserole dish. Spread it evenly.

8.Top the pasta mixture with the remaining mozzarella cheese and the grated Parmesan cheese.

9.Take the garlic bread and cut it into small pieces or slices. Arrange the garlic bread pieces on top of the cheese layer in the casserole dish, covering it as much as possible.

10.Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the garlic bread is golden brown.

11.Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
