Szechuan Spiced Maggi: A Noodle Adventure

1.In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.

2.Add the Maggi noodles to the boiling water and cook for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.

3.While the noodles are cooking, heat a small pan over medium heat and add the Szechuan peppercorns. Toast them for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, then remove from heat and crush them lightly.

4.Once the noodles are cooked, add the Szechuan peppercorns, chili oil, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic powder, ginger powder, sugar, salt, and black pepper to the saucepan. Stir well to combine all the flavors.

5.Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, allowing the noodles to absorb the flavors and the sauce to thicken slightly.

6.Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
