Banana Coffee Ice Cream

1.In a blender, combine the sliced bananas and brewed coffee. Blend until smooth and creamy.

2.In a medium saucepan, combine the milk, heavy cream, and sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar dissolves completely and the mixture is warm but not boiling (about 5 minutes).

3.Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the banana and coffee puree, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Mix well to combine.

4.Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature, then cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until thoroughly chilled.

5.Once chilled, pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions, usually about 20-25 minutes, until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.

6.Transfer the churned ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours to firm up before serving.

7.To serve, scoop the banana coffee ice cream into bowls or cones. Optionally, garnish with a light dusting of ground coffee or thin banana slices for an elegant presentation.
