Lavender Lemonade

1.In a small saucepan, combine the granulated sugar and 1 cup water. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.

2.Add the dried lavender to the syrup, remove from heat, and cover. Let steep for 10 minutes to infuse the floral flavor.

3.Strain the lavender syrup through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher, discarding the lavender solids.

4.Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice to the pitcher and stir to combine.

5.Refrigerate the mixture until well chilled, about 30 minutes if time allows.

6.When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice cubes. Pour the lavender lemonade mixture halfway into each glass, then top with sparkling water to fill.

7.Gently stir to combine and garnish with lemon slices and, if desired, a sprig of fresh lavender for a beautiful presentation.

8.Serve immediately and enjoy the refreshing, floral spritz.
