Ingredients: 1½ cup yellow cornmeal (mine's self-rise, but use 1 tbsp of baking powder if yours isn't).; 1½ cups all purpose flour; 1-1½ cups sugar; 2 sticks SALTED butter; 1¼ cups milk. (if you're using vegan milk, oat milk works best, soy is okay, almond/any other nut milk is worst. Add about a tbsp of butter to the milk for density and creaminess).; 3 large eggs (use egg replacer or Just Egg if vegan here. Flaxseed, banana or any other sub doesn't work as well as the store bought stuff.); Honey. (Atleast three tbsp).; Vanilla bean gel or essence, I guess.; HONEY BUTTER INGREDIENTS; 1 stick salted butter (melted or atleast softened); 2-4 tbsp honey; ½ tbsp vanilla extract
