Rubber Brick Bread

Preparing the Yeast In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast and sugar in warm water. Let it sit for 10 minutes until frothy.

Mixing the Ingredients In a large mixing bowl, combine the rubber, flour, and salt. Mix well.

Adding the Yeast Mixture Pour the yeast mixture into the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.

Kneading the Dough Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes, until it becomes smooth and elastic.

First Rise Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover with a clean kitchen towel. Let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

Shaping the Loaf Punch down the dough to release the air. Shape it into a loaf and place it in a greased bread pan.

Second Rise Cover the bread pan with a clean kitchen towel and let the dough rise for another 30 minutes.

Preheating the Oven Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Baking the Bread Bake the bread for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.

Cooling and Slicing Remove the bread from the pan and let it cool completely on a wire rack before slicing.
