Savory Garlic Parmesan Chicken

Preparation Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Coating the Chicken In a shallow dish, combine the panko breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, minced garlic, dried oregano, dried basil, paprika, salt, and pepper. In another shallow dish, place the flour. In a third shallow dish, beat the eggs.

Dredging the Chicken Dredge each chicken breast in the flour, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the seasoned panko mixture, pressing gently to adhere. Place the coated chicken breasts onto the prepared baking sheet.

Baking the Chicken Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is golden and no longer pink in the center.

Making the Garlic Butter Sauce In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook for 1-2 minutes, until the garlic becomes fragrant.

Adding Broth and Cream Pour in the chicken broth and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Stir in the heavy cream and grated parmesan cheese, stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce has thickened.

Serving Place the baked chicken on a serving platter. Drizzle the garlic butter sauce over the chicken and garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges. Serve hot and enjoy!
