Spiced Sweet Potato Mash with Cilantro

Preparing the Sweet Potatoes 1. Peel the sweet potatoes and cut them into chunks.

2.Place the sweet potato chunks in a pot, cover them with water, and bring to a boil. Cook until the sweet potatoes are tender when pierced with a fork, about 15-20 minutes.

Making the Mash 3. Drain the cooked sweet potatoes and transfer them to a mixing bowl.

4.Add fresh cilantro leaves, ground cumin, paprika, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, salt, and pepper to the sweet potatoes.

5.Mash the sweet potatoes and spices together until well combined and smooth.

Serving 6. Transfer the spiced sweet potato mash to a serving dish.

7.Garnish with fresh cilantro leaves before serving.
