Decadent Chocolate Butter Bread Pudding

1.Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

2.In a large mixing bowl, combine the cubed bread and dark chocolate chips. Toss them together gently to distribute the chocolate evenly among the bread pieces.

3.In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter, whole milk, eggs, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.

4.Pour the milk mixture over the bread and chocolate, ensuring all the bread is soaked. Let it sit for about 15 minutes to absorb the liquid, stirring occasionally.

5.Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray. Pour the bread mixture into the prepared dish, spreading it out evenly.

6.Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

7.Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm, optionally topped with whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
