Spicy Beef Tacos with Fresh Salsa

1.In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes.

2.Drain excess fat from the skillet, then add chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the spices are fragrant.

3.While the beef is cooking, prepare the fresh salsa. In a medium bowl, combine diced tomatoes, red onion, cilantro, jalapeño, and lime juice. Mix well and season with salt to taste. Set aside.

4.Warm the corn tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable.

5.To assemble the tacos, place a generous spoonful of the spicy beef mixture onto each tortilla, then top with a spoonful of the fresh salsa.
